Patent Valuation

We are able to provide you with either a quick and inexpensive AI-computed valuation or, working with a professional valuator, a more comprehensive valuation of your patent or patent portfolio.  Our patent valuations services are useful not only in the context of selling a patent or patent portfolio but also in the context of negotiating the purchase of a patent or patent portfolio from a prospective seller.  Furthermore, our patent valuation services may be useful to help your accountant determine the capital cost allowance for your patents. 
 

Patent Brokerage

If you have a portfolio of patents for sale, we would be pleased to identify and approach prospective buyers.  Likewise, if you wish to acquire a portfolio of patents, we would be pleased to approach the patent owner confidentially on your behalf.     
 

Evidence of Use

We can search for evidence of use (EoU) by identifying products or services currently being sold in particular jurisdictions where you have patents in force and can prepare a report indicating which claims are infringed by which products.  An EoU report is a very useful tool both to monetize your patent portfolio by asserting patent rights against infringers.  Patent owners may use EoU reports to obtain licensing revenues or to increase the valuation of a patent portfolio in advance of a sale or financing.  
 

Patent Administrator Support

We provide outsourced patent administrative support to law firms, patent agency firms and corporate inhouse patent departments.  We can prepare draft documents for patent prosecution like Information Disclosure Statements (IDS’s, inventor declarations, assignments, patent prosecution highway (PPH) requests, petitions, requests for national entry, etc.)  In this new economy where staffing is a real challenge, we can provide agile, on-demand patent administrator support services to you when you need it.    
 

Due Diligence Support

In the context of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition or a corporate re-organization, we are able to assist you in conducting your due diligence.  We can review IP-related aspects of your transaction, working under the supervision of your lawyers, to review documents, check assignments, chain of title, maintenance fees, entity status, IDS requirements, and the myriad other minute yet critical details to ensure that the patent assets you are acquiring or valuating are formally compliant with relevant regulations and are in good standing.
